With Char-Broil launching across different retail outlets our brief was to: install products, merchandise displays, promote, train and enable retail staff with the skills they needed to inform shoppers correctly about Char-Broil products.


Cross-referencing skill set and brand attributes with our qualified staff database, our team worked to match key colleagues focussing on; training experience, ability to engage with new people on the shop floor and how to ensure that retail staff were confident. Following a Char-Broil train – the – trainer session the team were deployed across the UK to 28 garden centre locations. The team’s focus was to introduce Char-Broil to the retail staff, enabling them to get hands-on with the products. All training was shop-floor based and the shopper’s needs were a priority.


On average, 5 people were trained per visit on the shop floor.

Merchandising to planogram percentage was increased per visit for both in-run products and accessories.
